The elegantly effective AutoQuest autosamplers are specially designed for use with the Cecil Adept HPLC, Q-Adept HPLC and IonQuest Ion Chromatography Systems.  They may also be used with third party LC systems.


The Cecil compact column heaters and heater/chillers are also compatible with third party LC systems, with sufficient space for up to three 25 cm columns and a chemical suppressor valve.

The use of high stability temperature control of the detector cell contributes towards the extremely low drift.

The use of the newly upgraded CE 4710 Conductivity Detector, coupled with the continuously regenerated chemical carbonate suppressor columns will provide for flat baselines, no carbonate peak, no injection peak, high sensitivities, gradient usage and speedy column equilibration.

In addition to the standard conductivity detector, the IonQuest can be used with other detectors, such as electrochemical, refractive index, UV/Visible, WaveQuest UV/Visible ultra-fast scanning and fluorescence.

These HPLC systems use High Pressure Mixing Gradients.


Because the systems are modular, different detectors may be accommodated depending on analytical requirements.  These detectors include variable wavelength UV/Visible, WaveQuest UV/Visible ultra-fast scanning, electrochemical, refractive index, conductivity and fluorescence.  Each detector is of the highest industry specification and is renowned for its Ultra-Low Drift.


If required, extra pumps can be acquired at any stage.


A wide range of autosamplers, fraction collectors, column heater/chillers, column reactors and column switching valves may be included within an Adept HPLC system.


Each Adept system can be customised to an analytical requirement.


The use of post-column reactors for amino acids, aflatoxins and barbiturates is easily achieved.


The use of biocompatible options brings a streamlined approach to denaturing DNA, semi-preparative proteomics HPLC etc.



Easy Installation and Maintenance


Adept systems have been designed with the user in mind.  systems are fast to install.  They are virtually plug and play.


The instrumentation can be maintained with simplicity and pre-written instrument qualifications help to ensure that the correct checks have been performed.

The Adept HPLC range has now been expanded to include Q-Adept systems.


Each Q-Adept system includes a single binary or quaternary low pressure mixing pump.  Hence Q-Adept brings even more versatility to modular systems and provides for lower priced HPLC.


Isocratic to Quaternary operation is provided, with the flexibility of a very compact modular, versatile  system, of minimal stack height.

The  wide range of detectors including the outstanding ultra-fast scanning uv/visible WaveQuest, uv/visible, conductivity, refractive index, electrochemical, and fluorescence, may be incorporated into systems.
